NASHVILLE, TN. () - Last night in Tampa, FL Brad Paisley performed an acoustic set to a standing room only crowd in the honky-tonk, Dallas Bull. Admittance to the show was $10 which included a TIME WELL WASTED cd – and was limited to the first 1,000 people. Fans tried to camp out the night before but were asked to leave so they came back at 6:00am. Doors opened at 6:00pm for a 10:00pm show. The average wait to get in was 5 hours and doors were opened earlier than planned because of the intense heat (heat index over 100). Since only 1,000 people were admitted to the club the overflow went to the parking lot with cars lining both sides of the street. As someone would occasionally leave the club, a cheer would go up from the crowd because that meant one more person would get to go in. Continuing a trend that Paisley's hit 'Alcohol' inspired, it's reported there were plenty of fans wearing lampshades in the crowd and several got to go on stage with Paisley. A crowd favorite was decorated with tiny alcohol bottles as fringe.

'It was a fun night. The club was tiny – it reminded me of the old days, the places I used to play. Except I don't think the places were that full in the old days,' says Paisley.

Initial reviews on TIME WELL WASTED have been raving.

Entertainment Weekly: 'No one in the genre is more devoted to the bearable lightness of being; between his penchant for comedy, honest romanticism, and fiery Fender Telecaster picking….' A-

People Magazine: 'Brad Paisley's fourth album may be his most impressive effort – vigorous, witty and brawny…..' 3 stars out of 4

USA Today: 'With each album, Paisley gets more adventurous, more daring and just plain better.' 3 stars out of 4

Washington Times: 'Album opener 'World' starts off with the dirtiest, nastiest tone burp heard this side of T-Rex's 'Get It On' and then smoothes out like an open road through the Plains.'

Miami Herald: 'Marvel at Paisley's prowess on electric guitar on tracks like the opening 'The World' and the high energy instrumental, 'Time Warp.' This guy's one of the best guitarists in Nashville.
