Jason Aldean Has The No 1 Most Downloaded Singles For Red Distribution Last Week

NASHVILLE, TN. (Broken Bow Records) - Broken Bow Recording artist JASON ALDEAN's debut single, 'Hicktown,' is the No 1 most downloaded digital track for RED Distribution in all genres of music this week.

'It's unbelievably exciting to have a single explode and generate such high demand,' comments Bob Morelli, EVP/GM RED Distribution. 'We all knew that Jason was an outstanding talent and these incredible results prove that to be true.'

Jason Aldean has cause to celebrate this week with his multiple accomplishments. Not only did his album, JASON ALDEAN, debut at No 6 on Billboard's Top Country Albums and No 37 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart with first week sales of almost 29,000, but the lead single, 'Hicktown,' continues to ascend up the country singles charts, hitting No 20 with a bullet on Billboard and No 14 with a bullet on the R&R this week.

Jason also celebrates making the 2005 CMA Awards Round 2 Ballot in the Music Video of the Year category with 'Hicktown'. His self-titled debut is an enhanced CD featuring the music video for 'Hicktown' which was directed by Wes Edwards from RukusFilm.
