NASHVILLE, TN. (Arista Nashville Records) - Acclaimed hit-making country singer, songwriter, musician and entertainer Phil Vassar will appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on July 21, performing "Good Ole Days." And the third single from his current album Shaken Not Stirred is quickly following its predecessors up the country charts.

"Good Ole Days" is one of the most-added songs at country radio since its release late last month. The previous two singles from Vassar's album include the two-week No. 1 "In A Real Love" and, most recently, the top 10 smash "I'll Take That As A Yes (The Hot Tub Song)."

Vassar is widely regarded as one of country's most energetic performers, making him a particular favorite among his peers. He's recently shared his stage with American Idol winner Carrie Underwood, rock icon Huey Lewis and a succession of successful performers including Gavin DeGraw, Robert Randolph, Ronnie Milsap, Sara Evans and Five for Fighting's John Ondrasik.

The piano-pounding, award-winning, songwriting Vassar has been highly visible supporting his current album: serving as a judge on the USA Network's talent search series "Nashville Star"; penning and singing "Live For Today," being used by NBC's Today Show on a segment of the same name; and recently entering a cross-promotion sponsorship for the heartburn medication Prilosec OTC.
