Lisa O'Kane Grateful For 'Peace Of Mind' - Issues Single July 1

NASHVILLE, TN. (www.lisaokane.com) - "PEACE OF MIND has been a wonderful record for me," says, California singer/songwriter Lisa O'Kane. A string of hits ("Sometimes," "Wrap Me Up," "Foggy River" and "No Tomorrow") have lengthened Lisa's stay at the top of the European market. Now she will release the title track from her current CD, "Peace Of Mind," via the July Country HotDisc compilation.

Releasing this song is a natural for O'Kane. A string of stateside performances this spring, a successful May tour of the U.K., a one-of-a-kind website contest and a month-long sweep of the British Isles (which begins today) have left precious little time for the sultry songstress to write - or record - songs for a new CD.

"I'm so blessed," says Lisa. "My fans have been wonderfully supportive of me and have really responded to the songs on PEACE OF MIND. I'm excited by this next tour, and look forward to spending the fall working on some new material."
Lisa may also want to catch up on some network television: the American Movie Classics television channel featured "Peace Of Mind" in promos of a Clint Eastwood marathon, and AMBER FREY: WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION (CBS-TV and Lifetime Channel) included her performance of "No Tomorrow" in a key movie scene.
