NASHVILLE, TN. (SONY BMG) - As exciting new Arista Nashville recording artist Keith Anderson enjoys his first Top 10 hit with his debut single, 'Pickin' Wildflowers,' it's clear that Anderson is connecting with fans. On the heels of a performance on NBC's Today show and being named the only country artist in the 2005 50 Hottest Bachelors issue of People, Keith's album, Three Chord Country and American Rock & Roll, enjoyed a major sales boost, leaping 26% on Billboard's Top Country Albums sales chart.

Anderson's chart action extends to the small screen, as he was a guest last week on CMT – Country Music Television's Top Twenty Countdown, where this week's ranking places his video for 'Pickin' Wildflowers' at No 2 on the popular, fan-voted countdown show.

Keith was also featured on Friday's edition of Inside Edition, in a special segment filmed in part at New York's ESPN Zone, along with fellow People bachelors Dhani Jones and Nicky Hayden.

One revelation from Anderson's inclusion in People cast a light on an area where Keith could use a 'leg up' – his dance moves. He told People, 'I definitely have white-man syndrome. My band calls one of my onstage moves, ‘Guy crushing out a cigarette butt,' when I lean my leg in and out.' Fans can be watching for Anderson's 'Hot Guy Crush' during upcoming dates in Ohio, Colorado, Texas, Pennsylvania, and more.
This week, 'Pickin' Wildflowers' is perched at No 10* in R&R and No 12* in Billboard.
