NASHVILLE, TN. (Webster PR) - The little girl who would come to be known as Jett Williams and fought an entire American legal system determined to keep her from knowing who she was, what she was entitled to, and why she was ultimately raised a ward of the state of Alabama instead as the acknowledged daughter of one of the greatest names in the music industry Hank Williams will make a special appearance in the Oval Office of The White House on Wednesday, June 29. President George W. Bush is known for his love of country music – what is also known as America's music – with many country music entertainers making stops at the White House for events and private functions. His love for the history of country music is no secret either; President Bush has vocally proclaimed Hank Williams as one of his all time favorite artists. To acknowledge his love for ‘the great one,' Jett Williams will be on-hand to present President Bush a hand crafted bronze statue created by famed sculptor Bill Rains of ‘the great one' Hank Williams. The sculpture was commissioned by the Hank Williams Estate and only 29 statuettes exist, one for each year of Hank Williams' life. Congressman Rehberg of Montana and sculptor Bill Rains will be in attendance.
