OREM, Utah (Politis Communications) - The Bands For Freedom Foundation today announced the addition of several extremely high-profile country music celebrities to its rapidly expanding "Heroes Page" - (www.bandsforfreedom.com/en/heroes.phpNo ) - an online list of celebrity supporters of the U.S. troops via the Bands For Freedom Foundation and the Armed Forces Relief
Trust fund (AFRT).
The newest heroes to the country musicians highlighted on the "Heroes Page" showcasing their support for U.S. troops by wearing red, white and blue Bands For Freedom silicone wristbands include:
- Rascal Flatts;
- Brad Paisley;
- Terri Clark; and
- Chely Wright.
Country music sensation Rascal Flatts (made up of Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney) is the latest to join with Bands For Freedom in support of the AFRT and the men and women of the U.S. military. Their breakout song "Prayin' for Daylight" propelled them to the top of the charts and subsequent hits "Feels Like Today" and "Bless the Broken Road" have helped them draw fans from outside the genre.
Brad Paisley, the West Virginian crooner, is the next superstar to join with the Foundation in support of U.S. troops. His songs include: "He Didn't Have to be," "Mud on the Tires," "I'm Gonna Miss Her" and "Whiskey Lullaby," a soulful duet with Alison Krauss.
Terri Clark, one of country's most established female performers, has built growing base of fans and supporters with her smooth vocals and striking beauty. She is a big advocate for the U.S. military at home and abroad. Clark's list of hit songs include: "Easy on the Eyes," "Every time I Cry" and "Girls Lie Too."
The final hero, Chely Wright, recently released her latest album The Metropolitan Hotel featuring her newest hit, "The Bumper of my S.U.V." Some of her other hits include "Shut Up and Drive" and "Single White Female."
