New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Randy Newman was the musical guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night. He gave a performance from home of "Mr. President (Have Pity on the Working Man)," a song from his 1974 album, Good Old Boys. You can watch it below.

"Maybe you're cheatin' / Maybe you're lyin' / Maybe you have lost your mind / Maybe you only think about yourself," go the closing lyrics. "Too late to run, too late to hide now / The time has come for us to say goodbye now / Mr. President, have pity on the working man."

Randy Newman's latest release, the song "Stay Away," is a public service announcement for social distancing, proceeds from which support the Ellis Marsalis Center for Music in New Orleans.
