NASHVILLE, TN. (Arista Nashville) - Multi-platinum selling country artist Brad Paisley will release his fourth Arista Nashville album, Time Well Wasted, on Aug. 16, 2005. The first single of the album, 'Alcohol,' has been the fastest rising single of Paisley's career – already in the Top 20 after just four weeks. The video for the song will debut on CMT and GAC in the next few weeks. Recorded in Nashville, Paisley teamed with producer Frank Rogers for the fourth time on Time Well Wasted. He's thrilled to have Dolly Parton as a special guest on the album with other surprises to come. 'I've tried my best to revisit the things that people expect from me, like including a gospel song and doing instrumentals and also humor on occasion,' remarks Paisley. 'But I've also recorded some things that will hopefully take listeners to a different place.' Since his debut in 1999, 5-time CMA award winner Paisley has established himself as one of country's finest entertainers. He has celebrated over 5 million career units sold of his three-album catalog, Who Needs Pictures, Part II and Mud on the Tires. Mud on the Tires debuted at No 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and No 8 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart. It held the No 1 country slot for two weeks and has been certified double platinum. After 96 weeks on the Country Album Sales Chart, Mud on the Tires remains a consistent best-seller – staying in the Top 25. Mud on the Tires produced four Top 5 singles including - 'Celebrity,' 'Little Moments,' 'Whiskey Lullaby' and the No 1 smash, 'Mud on the Tires.' In early 2005, Paisley headlined the successful 'Mud & Suds' tour with sold out shows at each stop and is currently co-headlining with Reba McEntire on the 'Two Hats and a Redhead' tour. A major announcement about Paisley's headline tour this fall is forthcoming.
