NASHVILLE, TN. (Chris Young PR) - June is proving to be a very busy month for talented singer/songwriter and Tennessee native son, Chris Young, who has adapted his touring and recording schedule to be able to participate in his third consecutive CMA
Music Festival. This event, being touted as 'Country Music's Biggest Party', will run from June 9-12.
On June 10th, after a special guest appearance and performance at the fan club party of good friend and fellow artist john Arthur martinez, Young's own fan club party is being held at the Dan McGuiness Pub on Demonbreun in Nashville where he will perform a full hour set with his band from 5-6 p.m. Unlike many of the other fan club parties, his is NOT limited to immediate fan club members only, it is an open party where he hopes to make many new fans while dedicating the event to those who already support him.
On June 11th, Chris will perform a 3 hour acoustic set of original music mixed in with cover songs for the Ultimate Fan Fair Adventure at El Chico's at 1132 Murfreesboro Road in Nashville from 6 – 9:00 p.m. (615) 366-6002.
Chris says, 'This business is always interesting but being able to meet with the folks who support me, by purchasing my albums and requesting me on radio, is what makes it all worth while and is always an opportunity I look forward to.'
On June 18th Chris will leave Nashville to head over to the Genoa, Illinois to take part in the Genoa Days Festival where he will appear on the main stage from 7 – 10 p.m. and he will finish out the month of June in Washington, DC. As a former recipient of the Presidential Scholar Award (in the Arts), he will participate in the Presidential Scholars Week festivities for this year.
In July he heads up to Wisconsin to headline the country stage at the 41st Annual Port Fish Day – the world's largest outdoor fish fry. Details available at www.portfishday.com
