Brian Charles Tischleder Presents "Momma Told Me So"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Brian Charles Tischleder released the song "Momma Told Me So", which appears on the album of the same name. It is an acoustic rock song that has both a catchy melody and a story to it.

The song starts with guitar chords that are low-pitched. The song launches into a story about the narrator, who also focuses on following the guidance of his mother's lessons. This is shown through the lyrics in the chorus: "You've got to take it real high/Don't let go/Cause my momma told me so". Upon singing this, he is accompanied by a background choir, who sings the words "high" and "don't let go", and also "told me so" in the post-chorus. The structure of the chorus is notable for being anti-climatic; after building up in the first two lines with the accompaniment of a choir, the line "Cause my momma told me so" is sung acoustically and in a low voice. This is by no means a bad thing, as it instead makes the chorus more memorable.

"Momma Told Me So" also makes use of the piano and the saxophone, with the latter having a solo after the second chorus. The usage of the saxophone appears to be a trademark of Brian Charles Tischleder, and helps distinguish his music. The production of the song is high-quality, allowing the listener to hear the different instruments while also focusing on the story being told in the lyrics.
