NASHVILLE, TN. (Sony Nashville) - Van Zant's debut album hits stores today and the guys are taking the US by storm with a slew of TV appearances and performances nationwide. First off the legendary duo will stop by the Academy of Country Music Awards (CBS) in Las Vegas on May 17th. Upcoming television appearances also include an exclusive hometown tour of Jacksonville, FL on CMT's "The Insider" and a performance on the popular sketch comedy show "Blue Collar TV" (WB) in June.
SIRIUS Satellite Radio will air an exclusive look inside 'Get Right With The Man' with cuts from the new album, interviews and live performances on New Country channel 31 all Memorial Day weekend.

Van Zant are one of the many luminaries who are confirmed to take the stage at the Nightly Concerts at The Coliseum at the CMA Music Festival in Nashville, TN from June 9th - 12th. Other performers include Trisha Yearwood, Big and Rich, Leann Rimes, Travis Tritt, Gretchen Wilson, Keith Urban and Lee Ann Womack.

In a recent X Radio interview, Johnny Van Zant discusses the duo's first single "Help Somebody," which is currently winging its way up the charts: "It's a great song and we loved it. It hit us, emotionally...the first time we heard it...When you (sing), you got to feel some kind of emotion, some kind of passion... and hopefully that will transform into listeners feeling the same kind of emotion that we did."

'Get Right with the Man,' described as "hard-edged guitar riffing, chip- on-shoulder feistiness, and celebrations of Southern pride" in an early Amazon.com review, is out today on Columbia Nashville.
"Southern rock and roll royalty combined with the best country music of today." - Scott Lindy, SIRIUS Satellite Radio
