Itoldyouiwouldeatyou Announce Oh Dearism Anniversary Show - Support From Flirting + Worstworldproblems
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Pink Mist are pleased to present a very special show from itoldyouiwouldeatyou to celebrate the one year anniversary of the release of their critically acclaimed genre-busting debut album Oh Dearism on Alcopop! Records x Failure By Design.

Taking place on the 6th December 2019, the band will be playing Oh Dearism in full at Chats Palace, London with support from friends Flirting. and Worstworldproblems.

Tickets are on sale now and available to purchase from: https://dice.fm/itoldyouiwouldeatyou-6th-dec-chats-palace-london-tickets

itoldyouiwouldeatyou are a seven-piece indie/emo group from across the UK, but based out of South East London. Channelling an experimental eclecticism through the nostalgic sounds of their youth, they paint a vision of a progressive, better future for a much maligned and oft-problematic genre.

Primarily written by frontperson Joey Ashworth (they/them) and their decade-long writing partner Josh See (he/him), itoldyouiwouldeatyou's debut album Oh Dearism was released in November 2018 via Alcopop! Records / Failure By Design to a swarm of critical and public acclaim.

A shapeshifting record which takes in electronica, spoken word passages and classical influence alongside itoldyouiwouldeatyou's more traditional emo sensibility, Oh Dearism garnered universal acclaim for its thoughtful and intelligent takes on everything from personal strife to class struggle, mental illness to international heritage. To date, it's racked up over 100,000 plays across streaming services.

Now preparing a second full-length for a 2020 release, itoldyouiwouldeatyou's ambition is matched by their DIY creative collaborators and peers Clumsy Bodies and Chevy Blazer who helm all visual direction.

Looking forward, the fervence that follows itoldyouiwouldeatyou looks set to become their calling card - more than just a fanbase, they are building a following, built as much on political views, personal belief and a vision for a more progressive future, as it is on their stunning musical output itself.
