NASHVILLE, TN. (BNA Records) - Dad is the best man I know, and when he and my mom got married when I was 12 years old, he asked me to be his best man. I was so proud. Just before I turned 18, he legally adopted me. It means everything to me to be able to say thanks to him through this song,' says 19-year-old Blaine Larsen about his upcoming single, 'The Best Man.'

The inspired and autobiographical song about 'The Best Man' is the second single from Blaine Larsen's debut BNA Records album, Off To Join The World. Blaine continues, 'I really admire him and he taught me how to be a man.' In addition to the 'The Best Man,' Blaine wrote or co-wrote five other songs on the album.

The album that critics have heralded as one of the best of 2005 has already yielded the powerful Top 15 song, 'How Do You Get That Lonely.' The music video continues in heavy rotation.

With support from radio, CMT, GAC and national media including Good Morning America, USA Today and People Magazine, Blaine has landed on AOL Music's 21 Under 21 List and is the sole country representative. AOL Music Editors weighted out each performer's talent, success, passion and overall potential, emerging with a list that includes artists such as Avril Lavigne, Joss Stone and Hilary Duff.
