NASHVILLE,
TN. (CMA Festival announcement) - CMA
Music Festival returns by popular
demand for a second year in 2005 and features the best in Country Music
entertainment from around the world during the CMA Global Artist
Showcase. The event will be held at The Stage on Broadway, Monday, June
6, at 6:30 PM.
"Last year, this event proved to be an exciting
addition to the CMA
Music Festival Week and was described by many as
the unofficial kick off to a busy week of music and activities," said
Jeff Walker President of AristoMedia/Marco Promotions and head of CMA's
Global Markets Task Force. ""Response was standing room only with a
line that stretched out the door and halfway down a city block on
Nashville's historic Broadway. We anticipate increased enthusiasm this
year based on reaction from many of our overseas attendees who have
already placed it on their 'must attend' list for that week."
Six
internationally known Country
Music artists representing five countries
will present an electrifying show guaranteed to please the format's
most ardent fans. Each artist performing has garnered a following in
their respective territory and many are multiple Country
Music award
winners. This is a unique opportunity for the public to see and hear so
many acclaimed international performers including:
Performer and Global Artist Showcase host Rachael Warwick (United Kingdom)
Mike Carr (Australia)
Adam Gregory (Canada)
Justin McGurk's (Ireland)
Charlie Nagatani (Japan)
Aleyce Simmonds (Australia)
"Last
year's global artist party featured artists from Brazil, Greece, The
Netherlands, New Zealand and Canada," Walker said. "Through this event,
the CMA has been able to reach out to top talent from territories all
across the world. Through our ongoing efforts in embracing these
artists, we have been able to create reciprocal opportunities for our
Country enthusiasts abroad."
