NASHVILLE, TN. (Montgomery Gentry Fans Website) - Last night in Asheville, NC, Eddie Montgomery epitomized the show business axiom 'the show must go on.' During the third song of Montgomery Gentry's set, Eddie stepped on a speaker cabinet beside the stage that was not properly secured – it gave way and sent him tumbling to the arena floor. In true Montgomery Gentry fashion he jumped up, dusted himself off and completed the rest of the 90 minute set. After a trip to the local ER it was determined he had broken four bones in his left wrist, he was put in a cast and is on his way to Mississippi for shows this weekend. 'I knew it was a serious injury by the look on Eddie's face and the fact that his arm was dangling at his side the rest of the show,' said Troy. Adds Eddie, 'Believe it or not – I've never broken a bone before and that was some kind of pain. But the crowd was rocking and I couldn't let them down.'
