New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The pebbled beaches of Liverpool's Wirral coastland may not be the immediate starting point for a sound that feels like it was honed on the dusty tracks of middle America, but like so many other things in Dominic Rowley's life, his calling for Americana music was down to the hands of fate. Handed a guitar for the first time at the age of 11 after accidentally stumbling in on the wrong music lesson, Dominic was quick to pick up the pen and begin writing songs. Now 20 years on, his devotion to the guitar is yet to falter and his latest single "Song For You" stands as a beautiful homage to the ethos that is American music.

Driven to get his music heard by others, Dominic got amongst the faces of the music industry when he was just 16, getting his music aired on BBC Radio Merseyside and recording a song alongside drummer Steve Barney (Annie Lennox, Jeff Beck, Anastacia, Mike + The Mechanics). Now living in Dubai and working for a US law firm, creativity and music still lives on to be a major part of Dominic's life.

Produced by Mike Cave (Lewis Capaldi, JP Cooper, Nicole Scherzinger, Tinchy Stryder, The Zutons, Elvis Costello, The Noisettes), "Song For You" is a heartfelt message to a lover, whose diary entry style chorus issues the familiarity of a memorable conversation whilst resonating all those powerful emotions of love, steeped deliciously in Americana. A tasteful combination of folk, country and melodic pop, Dominic absorbs the influences of the likes of Rascal Flatts, Gavin Degraw and The Calling and expresses them in his own unique style. Channelling the intimate incentives of all three genres, "Song For You" is a truly blissful listen and has served to whet our palettes for more of those sensual songs that mentally transport you to the idyllic hours laid in the summer sun.
