NASHVILLE, TN. (Epic Records) - Epic Records Nashville's newest sensation Miranda Lambert, will make her debut appearance on the Tonight Show this Friday, April 15, 2005. Lambert will be performing a song off of her first CD, Kerosene, which debuted at Number One on Billboard's Top Country Album Charts and saw initial sales of 40,390 units in the first week.

Lambert's appearance follows her already impressive laurels including an appearance on NBC's Today Show, features in USA Today, Entertainment Weekly, The New York Times, Associated Press and the current issue of People Magazine (on newsstands now). She has also signed on as one of the headlining artists in CMA's The Road to the CMA Music Festival in addition to an already burgeoning tour schedule. Lambert will also lend her time to the Spirit of America's 2005 concert series aimed at bringing headlining entertainment to hardworking troops here in the United States. The tour will take her to Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio , Texas where she will undoubtedly provide a much needed break to military personnel and family.

Lambert's second single, 'Bring Me Down' was released April 4 and is already climbing the charts. Her first single 'Me and Charlie Talking' debuted in October at No 42 making it the highest first week debut by a new female country artist in at least a decade (including Dixie Chicks and Shania Twain).
