NASHVILLE, TN. (Spent Records/ www.steveportermusic.com) - Newcomer Steve Porter is revving things up with his latest SPENT Records single, "90 mph," which is set for international release via the Country HotDisc compilation April 1.

The single, written by Porter and award-winning guitarist Bobby Messano is a rip-roaring, a**-kickin' Saturday night thrill. Steve's vocals spark and flare - and the track is as hot as the tires on an Indy 500 car.

The chorus reads:
"It was 90 mph down a two-lane road, At least that's as fast as the officer told; He didn't slow down for the caution light, He just drove straight through into the night. The blue lights were flashin' like neon signs When he crossed over the county line. He knew they were on his tail but soon He was gonna be at the local saloon." - Porter/Messano.
This South Carolina native made his debut with the hit, "Back To The Country." Fresh from a power-hang with the Musik Mafia at 36th annual Country Radio Seminar, Steve goes into the studio in April to finish his upcoming CD. Now, "90 mph" is set to rocket him to the top of the charts again.
