NORCROSS, GA. (Waffle House, Inc./ www.wafflehouse.com/ www.traceadkins.com) - Multi-platinum country music superstar Trace Adkins will go from the stage to the grill as he "cooks it up for his fans" at Waffle House restaurants this summer as part of a partnership with the national 24-hour restaurant chain.

Adkins will meet winners of local radio contests at a Waffle House restaurant the day of his concert in select cities, share one of his favorite meals and maybe flip an egg or two. In addition, one fan at each stop will win an authentic Waffle House jukebox filled with country favorites and unique Waffle House songs.

On Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at 1 pm Adkins will meet with Waffle House executives and the press to discuss the new partnership and his new album at the Waffle House restaurant located at Old Hickory Boulevard and I-65 in Brentwood, TN.

Other elements of the summer promotion include the debut of Adkins' singles "Songs About Me" and "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" on Waffle House jukeboxes at nearly 1,500 restaurants nationwide. Adkins will also recommend his favorite Waffle House meals on upcoming menus.
"I have always loved Waffle House. It's been like an oasis in the desert many times late at night after one of my concerts," says Adkins. "So I couldn't have been more excited when I heard that I would have this great opportunity to work with Waffle House. It's a perfect fit."

Adkins has just released his seventh and latest album for Capitol Records/Nashville entitled SONGS ABOUT ME. Released Tuesday, March 22, Adkins claims that actually all of his albums could easily be called "songs about me," as his formula for making records hasn't changed all that much over the years. "I only record songs that I really like and believe in and can sing with conviction," he says.

That approach has helped Adkins to build one of country music's most compelling catalogs with a string of breakthrough hits like "Every Light In The House Is On," "This Ain't No Thinkin' Thing," "I'm Tryin'," "Chrome," "Hot Mama," "Rough & Ready" and more.
SONGS ABOUT ME is filled with the kind of grit and passion for which he has become best known and the title track is quickly making its way to the top of the charts -making it his next big hit.

The Waffle House fan events will begin in Birmingham, Ala., June 4 and continue in select markets throughout the summer. A list of cities and details on how fans can register to win can be found on https://www.traceadkins.com or https://www.wafflehouse.com.
"Trace's music appeals to the down-to-earth folks who are also loyal regulars of our restaurants," says Walt Ehmer, Waffle House vice president and the "Walt" of Walt's Soup(TM). "We are excited about this summer and look forward to our partnership with Trace."
