NASHVILLE, TN. (BNA Records) - With a powerful single and an album receiving rave reviews, Blaine Larsen makes his Good Morning America debut, waking-up with Charlie, Diane, Robin and the rest of America on Friday, March 25.

'When I had to get up early for school, I always watched Good Morning America, so this is really exciting and a bit surreal,' said Blaine from his cell phone after soundcheck for a show in Houston. For the 19-year-old from a small Washington town, a hit album, Good Morning America and a first trip to New York is, in his words, 'Bigger than life!'

The series of unusual and fortuitous events that led Blaine to his record deal is 'Behind The Music' material. A letter from a classmate to a Nashville songwriter laid the groundwork for the recording of an independent album from Blaine. A song from that album playing on a hometown Seattle radio station caught the attention of a SONY BMG employee who passed it on to RCA Label Group Chairman Joe Galante, and a record deal ensued.

Blaine will perform his hit song, 'How Do You Get That Lonely,' and others from his Off To Join The World album next week in Nashville for the annual Country Radio Seminar event. He will be featured in the Wednesday March 2 edition of Nashville's daily paper, The Tennessean. He's also profiled in the current issue of Country Weekly Magazine.
