Scottish Musician Nina Nesbitt To Tour With Jesse McCartney This Summer
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Scottish singer, songwriter and musician Nina Nesbitt releases a brand new song, "The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change," taken from her forthcoming album, due out later this year onCooking Vinyl Records.
Premiering earlier this week in the Variety Magazine column, "Songs For Screens," the song will also appear in an episode of the CW Network's new series, "Life Sentence," airing this Friday, May 11th at 9 PM EST / 8 PM CST. Executive produced by Bill Lawrence ("Cougar Town," "Scrubs"), the one hour drama centers on a young woman, Stella Abbott ("Pretty Little Liars" star Lucy Hale) who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. When she finds out that she's not dying after all, she has to learn to live with the choices she made when she decided to "live like she was dying." "Life Sentence" airs on the CW network on Fridays at 9/8 pm central immediately following the hit drama, "Riverdale."

Written by Nina and produced by Lostboy, "The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change" is a deeply personal and introspective ballad, beautifully sung, with Nina's dreamy vocals taking center stage over sparkling production. Talking about the song, Nina explains, "This song is the light at the end of the tunnel where you remind yourself that nothing in life in permanent whether it's good or bad. It's almost like a self-help song that hopefully people can listen to in times of need and be reminded that things are constantly changing."

Fresh off her first proper North American tour that included a string of dates supporting UK singer-songwriter Jake Bugg and a massive run of headline shows, Nina Nesbitt has announced plans to return to these shores later this summer, supporting American singer and actor, Jesse McCartney on his upcoming summer tour. Kicking off June 15th in Atlanta, the 11-date run includes stops in New Orleans, Houston, Dallas, Jacksonville, Charlotte, New York, Philadelphia, Boston and more. Nina is also on the bill for 93.3 FLZ's Summer Jump Off in Tampa, FL (TICKETS) on June 22nd. For a full list of tour dates and ticket information, please visit www.ninanesbittmusic.com.

Earlier this year, Nina Nesbitt announced a partnership with Spotify for their Louder Together program, a unique collaboration with fellow emerging female songwriters Sasha Sloan and Charlotte Lawrence, to write and record the first ever collaborative Spotify Singles Original called "Psychopath." Spotify launched Louder Together, bringing artists together in the spirit of community, empowerment and inspiration kicking off during Women's History Month to create and record a Spotify Singles Original."Psychopath" is out worldwide now. Listen HERE.

"The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change" follows three incredible releases from Nina; "Somebody Special," "The Best You Had" and "The Moments I'm Missing," all demonstrating her undeniable knack for modernist pop and R&B which she blends with her own confessional song-writing. Since its release, "Somebody Special" has amassed more than 21 million combined streams. Watch a special acoustic video of "Somebody Special" HERE.

Fans of Nina's include Chloƫ Grace Moretz and Taylor Swift, who included 'The Best You Had' on her "Favorite Songs Playlist" on her Apple Music. Currently, these two tracks alone count for 53 million of her 90 million streams to date, and that number continues to grow week by week and on a global scale.

Having grown-up in a small village just outside Edinburgh, Nina Nesbitt has found a way to make it work for her in an industry that often doesn't give you the time to settle into the artist you want to be. Rather than rush into making another album for the sake of it, she waited for the inspiration to strike and let it slowly take shape organically. What she excels at is being an artist, but one that's fully in control - the very best kind. Nina's new album will be later this year.
