NASHVILLE, TN. (BNA Records) - It's not every day you turn 19 and find out that your album has debuted at Number 14 on the Billboard Country Album Chart. But that's exactly what happened to BNA Records newcomer Blaine Larsen today.

On the accomplishment Blaine said, 'I can't thank people enough for going out this last week and picking up my cd. It's been a wonderful birthday present for me to see the response that this record has received. What more could I ask for?''

His Off To Join The World album, released last week, is fueled by the powerful first single, 'How Do You Get That Lonely,' a song that deals with teen suicide. The song continues its climb up the singles chart to number 24 in R&R and 25 in Billboard after on 12 weeks.

The album has the critics raving as well. The Miami Herald says, 'He's a potent talent, too, co-writing a number of his songs, including seasoned highlights like the melancholy The Man He'll Never Be and the touching tribute to his step dad, The Best Man.'
People Magazine says, 'Every young singer should blend youthful energy and respect for Tradition this artfully,' while Nashville's own Music Row Magazine raves, 'Here it is, boys, riding high and handsome on what promises to be one of the memorable releases of this year.'
