BOULDER, CO. (What Are Records/ www.whatarerecords.com) - Before the Postal Service hit it big with their Sub Pop debut, there was Figurine, a long distance love affair between Jimmy Tamborello and his friends Meredith and David. Parts Depeche Mode, parts new ambient electropop, parts internet geek, Figurine's 'The Heartfelt' came out the month before September 11. It fared well despite the obvious ominous autumn that followed.

Since then, however, the Postal Service have gone gold, and Jimmy's other band Dntel have perked up quite a few ears. It's in the great spirit of timeless records that we announced a major re-press of Figurine's 'The Heartfelt,' for the first time hitting major record stores internationally. Free MP3s and videos are up at https://www.marchrecords.com and press copies are available on demand. https://www.marchrecords.com/artists/figurine

Stephen Becker, Ph.D., bided his time in various local bands from New York to Seattle before settling in Chicago. One failed marriage and a million books read, Stephen decided he needed a voice.
His debut CD, 'Universe And Villa', could likely be one of the best debuts of recent memory. He's calling his band Le Concorde, a project gushing with grace, poetry, and infectiousness. Fans of Belle & Sebastian or The Clientele will immediately notice the witty melancholy, the yearning for a pretty revolution. March Records is proud to release Le Concorde's 'Universe And Villa.'
