NASHVILLE, TN. (Webster PR) - Country music legend John Conlee hosted the Patriot Ball Thursday evening in Washington, DC as part of the 55th Presidential Inauguration festivities. The Patriot Ball was one of many parties being thrown after the inauguration ceremonies. President Bush and Vice President Cheney were in attendance. The Patriot Ball, also titled The Ohio Ball, was held in honor of the State of Ohio and its dedication to the re-election of President Bush in 2004.

Conlee, a military father, was honored to be a part of such an event, 'It's so special for me to be included in the Presidential Inauguration festivities. I am proud to be able to stand behind my President, and I will continue to for the next four years. It's also a thrill to be behind-the-scenes during such a busy time in Washington and see the security personnel in action.'

John Conlee's son Johnny completed Marine Boot Camp this past December 17. The current U-S military situation in the Middle East took on a whole new meaning to Conlee with the chance his son could be sent at any moment, but that did not change his position on the war.

'They Also Serve,' the latest single from the Grand Ole Opry member, is a tribute to the family and friends of the troops that are serving our country overseas. Look for the national debut of the music video that accompanies 'They Also Serve' in the coming weeks.
