New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Latin Grammy-nominated Chilean singer, producer, songwriter, and musician extraordinaire Javiera Mena announces her 2017 U.S. Summer tour with eight confirmed festival and club dates in the east coast, west coast and Mid-west, starting July 8th in Chicago, IL with her debut at Ruido Fest. The electro-pop diva's U.S. tour will also include her debut at Philadelphia's Nuevo Fest on July 16th and her return to the annual Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) in New York City on July 13th at the Highline Ballroom. Mena last toured the U.S. in 2016 in support of her critically acclaimed fourth album Otra Era, which included a Red Bull 30 Days In L.A. showcase.

Over the course of the past seventeen years, Javiera Mena has proven herself to be one of the leading stars of electro-pop music in Latin America. The Santiago, Chile-based artist's live performances, which include stunning projections, live dancers, costume changes, light shows, and a full band, are visual and audible spectacles that have gained her a cult following in the electronic dance music community.

Since the release of her first album Esquemas Juveniles in 2006, Mena has toured throughout Latin America, the United States, and Spain, performing at world-renowned festivals such as Lollapalooza (Chile), Vive Latino (Mexico), Primavera Sound Festival (Spain), Corona Capital (Mexico), Viña del Mar International Song Festival (Chile) and SXSW (USA). Her contagious mix of electro pop, house music, and dreamy vocals has gained her a strong following on social media and millions of views on YouTube for dance-floor ready singles such as "Luz de Piedra de Luna", "Sincronía, Pegaso", and "Espada". Mena's career reached new heights in 2015 when she was awarded a Latin Grammy nomination for the title track off her most recent album Otra Era.
