Orange Bowl 2005
National Championship Halftime Show features world-class entertainment and this year, platinum-selling Country Star,
Trace Adkins will be part of the music extravaganza, where he will perform his brand new single, "Songs About Me."
Joining Adkins, will be Pop Superstar,
Ashlee Simpson and the winner of FOX-TV's first American Idol,
Kelly Clarkson. As part of the choreography, these artists will be joined by 3,000 dancers, with over 1,000 youth participants hailing from local South Florida dance studios. The national championship game airs live at 8:00 PM, ET on ABC-TV, Tuesday, January 4, 2005.
On Monday, January 3, Adkins will also be part of a star-studded beach concert for thousands of local and visiting fans in town for the big game. A "teaser" to the FedEx Orange Bowl Halftime Show excitement, the Orange Bowl PATCH Beach Bash will take place at Hollywood Beach from 12:00pm – 8:00 pm.
Other artists participating in the beach party concert include Simpson, OutKast's Big Boi and teen pop sensation, JoJo, along with special performances and presentations by popular local artists.
