Hard Working Americans Announce Supporting Acts For Summer Tour
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Mother Hips, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Raelyn Nelson Band And The Congress Will Join The "Fascinating Roots-Rock Collaboration" (Rolling Stone) On The Road This August

Hard Working Americans, the bruising and deeply soulful rock band fronted by Todd Snider, has announced supporting acts for their seventeen-date August tour. San Francisco jam rockers The Mother Hips will open the first stretch of the run, and singer-songwriter Aaron Lee Tasjan, "country punks" the Raelyn Nelson Band and Virginia four-piece The Congress will perform with Hard Working Americans along the way. A full list of supporting acts and dates is below.

On this leg of their United States tour, Hard Working Americans will travel to a number of cities, including Los Angeles, Seattle and Austin, for the first time since releasing their sophomore album 'Rest In Chaos' in May. The band will conclude the tour with an appearance at the Lockn' Music Festival in Arlington, VA on August 27.

Since its release, 'Rest In Chaos' has been called "a twisted strain of cosmic-hippie, gonzo-outlaw music" by the Boston Globe and "a remarkable record that deserves strong year-end consideration come list season" by the Nashville Scene. 12 of the 13 tracks on the album are based on poetry by Snider, and were written by the band on the road. Also included is "The High Price Of Inspiration," a collaboration with Guy Clark and one of his final works before passing away.
