NASHVILLE, TN. (B-Venturous Records/ www.waynewarner.com) - In a recent survey, over 170 top clubs and dance instructors across the U.S. determined the most played and most requested Country Dance Songs of 2004. When the ten top songs were announced to the media on Monday, the panel of industry professionals ranked Wayne Warner's 'Turbo Twang' in the No 6 spot. Facing competition from the likes of Big and Rich, Gretchen Wilson, Toby Keith and others 'Turbo Twang' was the only release from an independent artist or label on the list. 'Turbo Twang' will also be highlighted in the upcoming January 3, 2005 edition of Country Weekly. Calling the single 'infectious' and 'rockin'', the story also talks about Warner's touring and a stop for fuel following a recent performance in Pittsburgh, PA that turned into a two hour autograph session. 'Turbo Twang' is the first single from Wayne Warner's sophomore release Doing Something Right which arrived in stores on November 16.
