'Old Chicks, New Tricks' Equals Grammy Nomination; Lynn Anderson receives Grammy Nomination for 'Best Bluegrass Album'

NASHVILLE, TN. (Webster PR) - Lynn Anderson responds to her Grammy Nomination for the 2004 DM Records album 'The Bluegrass Sessions,' an anthology of her hits bluegrass style.
"I'm amazed and absolutely THRILLED to receive a Grammy Nomination for 'The Bluegrass Sessions." It's been 30 years since my last nomination, and 34 since my last Grammy win... so I'm calling this: "Old Chicks - New Tricks"!
Thanks to my Incredible Producer, Bil VornDick and to all the fabulous musicians who helped mereinterprett some wonderful songs. We hoped to pay respect to the Bluegrass Genre, and perhaps add a new twist to this great American Music form. Thanks to DM Records for focusing on Bluegrass music, and for giving me this wonderful opportunity to expand my musical horizons.'

Over the span of Lynn's almost 40 year career, her work has earned six additional Grammy nominations..."Top of The World" was awarded a Grammy for Best Country Song and "Rose Garden" earned one for best Country Female Vocal Performance.
