Charlie Daniels Band & Friends celebrate Christmas For Kids at sold out Benefit

NASHVILLE, TN. (Webster PR) - Charlie Daniels will offer his time and talents to host and headline the 8th Annual Christmas For Kids Benefit Concert this Sunday, November 21st at the Ryman Auditorium, beginning at 7:00 PM. Charlie Daniels and friends Tracy Byrd, Buddy Jewell, Lonestar, and Tracy Lawrence will perform at the charity event that raises money for the Christmas For Kids organization, and this year is the first ever sold out event.
'We are completely out of seats,' Debbie Lamberson proclaimed earlier today. 'This is a very exciting time for our organization and for Nashville.'

The Christmas For Kids Organization has been in existence for twenty years providing special children the opportunity to celebrate the holiday season. Each year, the organization brings the spirit of Christmas to hundreds of children throughout Middle Tennessee allowing them to participate in festive activities organized specifically for them.
As part of this year's Christmas for Kids activities, a Tour Bus Show has been scheduled for Monday, December 13. For a donation of $2 per person, folks can visit the home-away-from-homes of more than fifty stars and celebrities. The show will be held at the Hendersonville Wal*Mart from 5:00 – 9:00PM.

The following day, children from 25 different schools will enjoy a day-long excursion that will include a chauffeured trip from their school aboard a country music star's luxury tour bus to a local Wal-Mart where they will be accompanied by a volunteer to participate in their own Christmas shopping spree. On the return trip home, the children will participate in a Christmas carol sing-along.

All proceeds from the Tour Bus Show and the Charlie Daniels Band & Friends Benefit Concert (sponsored in part by 95.5 The Wolf)--November 21--will be donated toward the children's Christmas Shopping/Bus Excursion which is scheduled to take place December 14.
