NASHVILLE, TN. (Webster PR) - 'Our family tradition for Thanksgiving is a bit different than most. We usually celebrate Cajun style! Being from South Louisiana, it is only fitting! The entire family comes together in the early morning hours and that's when the cooking begins. We'll have shrimp and crabs boiling before noon. We'll have the oysters shucked and cleaned readied for frying and eating (raw)! And to round out the menu, we'll fry up some fresh catfish as well. All of this is done outside where most of the Thanksgiving festivities take place. Inside, in the kitchen, my Mom will be making green bean casserole and sausage jambalaya. For dessert, it's my specialty to make my homemade New Orleans Bread Pudding with a bourbon/pineapple sauce. It's always a ton of fun with a ton of food!' - Dwayne Dupuy/Ricochet 'We'll all head up to Momma's house. The first thing the kids will do is pull stuff out of an old toy box and play with toys that I used to play with when I was a kid. ...for me, the Thanksgiving Dinner is not complete unless there's cranberry sauce and pecan pie on the table!' – Mark Chesnutt 'Since my husband is Greek, I prepare a Greek stuffing which has sort of a nutty flavor. The other must-have' items are cornbread stuffing and banana pudding –that's the Southern tradition that we cannot go without!' - Crystal Gayle
