New York, NY (Top40 Charts) U.K. alt-pop duo THE TING TINGS-Katie White & Jules De Martino-have just announced they will return to the U.S. for a series of summer dates. The tour will kick off Thursday, June 18 at Wire in Berwyn, IL and includes rescheduled dates at San Francisco's Regency Ballroom on July 1 and The Wiltern in Los Angeles July 2. The song continues to gain major support at HOT AC radio, this week breaking into the Mediabase Top 30. THE TING TINGS-known for their massive hits"That's Not My Name"and "Shut Up and Let Me Go," among others-approached this new album differently. Feeling uninspired, the two sought out an adventure in late 2012 which took them to Ibiza. While there, someone introduced Katie and Jules to Duran Duran's stalwart guitarist Andy Taylor who offered to help sift through some old demos and became co-producer of this project. Songs began emerging. The result is SUPER CRITICAL, a hook-laden, modern disco-funk opus.
