Music From The Critically Acclaimed Documentary "Glen Campbel - I'll Be Me" Wins Big At The Grammys
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Big Machine Label Group) Country music icon GLEN CAMPBELL, with co-writer and producer JULIAN RAYMOND, won the award for Best Country Song for their hit "I'm Not Gonna Miss You" at the 57th Annual GRAMMYs. The Oscar nominee for Best Original Song is included on the Glen Campbell…I'll Be Me Official Soundtrack slated for release February 17 on Big Machine Records.

"I'm Not Gonna Miss You" is featured in the Critics' Choice nominated documentary Glen Campbell…I'll Be Me, which follows Campbell's final tour and his struggle with Alzheimer's disease. The heart-wrenching love song is Campbell's final recording and was recorded with the famed Wrecking Crew. Almost lumbering through the melody, Campbell's weathered tenor confesses the painful truths of what is lost, the cost - and the reality that it will all be lost to him, the man who can't remember. The scene, filmed in the recording studio, was captured towards the end of the film when signs of the disease heartbreakingly became apparent. Watch it here.

Country superstar and critically acclaimed actor Tim McGraw will perform "I'm Not Gonna Miss You" at the Oscars® on February 22. McGraw has won 3 GRAMMY® Awards, 14 ACM Awards, 11 CMA Awards, 10 AMA Awards and has starred in multiple films including The Blind Side, Friday Night Lights, Country Strong and Disney's upcoming Tomorrowland out May 22.

"I'm honored to be asked to sing this powerful song from one of the true legends of the music industry," said McGraw in response to the Oscar® performance.

Praised Rolling Stone of the song, "Glen Campbell has recorded his final song and the result, 'I'm Not Gonna Miss You,' is a poignant, confessional tune that serves as a stunningly personal coda to a career spent entertaining millions throughout the world."

Added the Los Angeles Times, "...the heartbreaking famous last words of a real-life country-music icon as the sun sets on his mind. It seems every year, there's a song that proves transcendent. This year's has to be 'I'm Not Gonna Miss You...'"

With over 7 million music video views and a historic ranking on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, the song immediately struck a chord with fans and has been going strong ever since.

Also off the documentary's soundtrack, The Band Perry's rendition of Campbell's "Gentle On My Mind," won the GRAMMY for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group. This is the band's third GRAMMY® nomination; the first was in 2011 for Best Country Song and the second was in 2012 for Best New Artist. The sibling trio - Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry - have had four #1 hits, four multi-platinum singles and their two albums,The Band Perry and Pioneer, have been certified Platinum and Gold respectively.

Big Machine Records is the label home to 2015 GRAMMY winners The Band Perry and nominees Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw. Big Machine Label Group President/CEO SCOTT BORCHETTA serves as an Executive Producer for the film Glen Campbell…I'll Be Me and the official soundtrack.
