New York, NY (Top40 Charts) To celebrate the announcement of their 2015 west coast tour, Jeff Austin Band premieres the video for "Living in Between." The new song was filmed at eTown Hall in Boulder, Colorado and offers a glimpse of what is to come from the Jeff Austin Band.
n addition, Jeff Austin, @JeffreyAustin10, will discuss his upcoming (February 10th) release of The Simple Truth by hosting a live Twitter conversation. The Jeff Austin live Twitter discussion will begin on February 9th at Midnight ET/9 p.m. PS.
The Simple Truth, the band's debut on Yep Roc Records, features guest appearances from Cody Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars), Brendan Bayliss (Umphrey's McGee), Andy Hall (Infamous Stringdusters) and Jenn Hartswick (Trey Anastasio Band) plus songwriting contributions from Sarah Siskind, Benny Galloway, and Todd Snider. The Jeff Austin Band includes Danny Barnes on banjo, guitarist Ross Martin, and bass player Eric Thorin.
Bluegrass Today cited Austin's "eclectic song choices and arrangements, reflecting Jeff's range of musical interests." The Bluegrass Situation "can't wait to hear more of his genre-bending tunes."
Jeff Austin Band recently added spring tour dates including stops in San Francisco, Seattle, and Portland. In March the band teams up with the Travelin' McCourys featuring Bill Nershi for The Road to DelFest mini-tour; the two ensembles will perform at the Brooklyn Bowl on March 4 before performing in Ardmore, Pa., Washington D.C., and Charlottesville, Va. Jeff Austin will play solo at SXSW in Austin, Texas in mid-March and Springfest in Fl.
