Christie Lenee Chases Infinity - Where Will It Take Her Next?

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Christie Lenée is able to take pop/rock and make it a wondrous instrumental landscape. She's done so most recently with her latest release, "Chasing Infinity", a 16-track composition predominantly showcasing modern fingerstyle techniques. The theme of the album is representative of the earth's elements, adding hugely dynamic aspects to each track. The piece of work serves to showcase Christie's journey as a performer.

Christie plays more than fingerstyle. As an endorsee of "The Engle", an innovative new guitar hammer making waves in the guitar world, Christie is now more of a textural powerhouse than ever. In fact, "Chasing Infinity" is actually the first published body of work to use, "The Engle"- and Christie is thrilled with the result. "Since I was selected to be the pioneer for this sound I was determined to master it, and during this journey I have discovered some inventive and interesting new sounds. It seems to be the perfect blend between 12 string, mandolin, and hammered dulcimer!" "The Engle" was used on four of the album's tracks, including "Raining A Miracle" and "Sweet Lullaby".



The award-winning guitarist has opened up for prominent and explorative guitar players including the likes of Tim Reynolds (NY, PA, and FL), Angel Band, David Bromberg, Jeff Coffin (recorded on "Give and Take In"), Oteil Burbridge (The Allman Brothers), and Marty Balin (Jefferson Airplane). In fact, two bonus tracks from "Chasing Infinity" feature Tim Reynolds himself.
