NASHVILLE. TN. (Infinity Nashville) - Set your clocks - start your engines. "TIMELESS," the much anticipated lastest album project from T.G. SHEPPARD, hits stores this week on October 26th, The song collection marks a new era for one of the leading hitmakers in country music, and is already hitting a high waterline with major industry exposure about to roll-out.

The album - which Sheppard co-produced and describes as "a project I've wanted to do for years" - features classic love songs - America's favorite music from across the decades - with a distinctive "big band era" production twist surrounding one of country music's most recognizable voices.

At the bedrock of the label's launch of TIMELESS, is a major promotional campaign with GAC and GAC.com which began running earlier this month. The GAC alliance includes an ambitious exposure package of announcement spots and commercials on television and radio as well as a TIMELESS contest promotion hosted at GAC.com

On October 23rd, thirty second commercials were inset into the telecast of the Grand Ole Opry Live and TIMELESS was spotlighted with the launch of a series of 60 second promos on GAC Classic Country Weekend radio. More branding with Grand Ole Opry Live, GAC Classics with Bill Cody, and GAC Classic Country Weekend commercial insets are set to roll out well into November with a second wave campaign that will target GAC listeners and viewers with the TIMELESS imprint.

To further help celebrate launch, TIMELESS is currently the centerpiece of a "Listening Party" online at CMT.com in a promotion that will run well into November. WSM-AM is heralding launch tomorrow (26th) locally in Nashville by featuring the new T.G. CD and autographed posters in a special all-day "TIMELESS" on-air promotional give-away.

T.G. has already taped the Bill Cody television show for airing on GAC and will be in the kitchen with Lorianne Crook for a November 2nd taping of her "Cooking Show," to further warm up new audiences for the new music at hand.

The official "coming out" party for the project however won't come until November 4th when Destiny Row will host a debut label "Listening Party" for media and industry at the Country Music Hall Of Fame and Museum. The event will include a 3:00-4:00 P.M. industry only reception at the Conservatory.
Following will be a 4:00-5:00 P.M. XM-Satellite Radio "TIMELESS SPECIAL" to be broadcast from the Ford Theater at the Hall of Fame. The hour long special, hosted by on-air personality, Shannon, will debut the new project with previews of the album cuts and live interview with T.G. for XM-Satellite Radio listeners. VIP Gold seating will be provided within the theater for industry. Winners from the GAC.com online contest will also be flown to Nashville for the event.

With 17 No 1 career singles to his credit, TIMELESS marks T.G. Sheppard's return to radio, retail, and a large flock of fans. It is his first project under the alliance with Nashville's Destiny Row Records.
From selection of songs (Everybody Loves Somebody, When I Fall In Love, The Very Thought Of You - are examples) to production, the album is an innovative leap for the singer who is credited with moving country music to ever widening audiences and crossover success in the general market throughout the '70's, '80's and into the '90's.

"Misty Blue" is the first single from the album to reach country radio. T.G. is confident it's a project whose time is "now:" "I am a country performer but I've always enjoyed doing all kinds of music - so hopefully the new project will find its' own audience of support," he noted in a recent interview. "My roots are and will always be in country music, so I'm just taking this moment in my career and life as a performer to stretch my muscles and sing some music that I - and I think a lot of people out there grew up with and will really enjoy."
