Legendary, Multi-Platinum Rock Band Chicago Partners With Epic Rights
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Chicago, one of the longest running and most successful rock bands in history with more than 100 million records sold, has named Epic Rights its global branding and rights management representative with a multi-year merchandise, licensing, e-commerce and digital media agreement.

Chicago--the self-described "rock and roll band with horns" and one of the world's best-selling groups of all time--is joining forces with Epic Rights to build the global franchise with a uniquely creative and integrated strategy. Under the terms of the agreement, Epic Rights will provide full service music merchandising--including concert merchandise, VIP ticketing and fan experiences, and licensing and retail strategy, as well as managing the band's official website, online shop and social media.

"Chicago has been cited as second only to the Beach Boys in Billboard Magazine's singles and albums chart, and their success among American bands provides a tremendous opportunity to create a multi-faceted brand program to further engage their established fan base, as well as reach an entirely new generation with a targeted digital strategy," stated Brad Auerbach, Executive Vice President, Epic Rights.

"Chicago is an American treasure with a lifetime of musical achievements and are as relevant and popular today as they were 40 years ago, and we look forward to developing a program that reflects their music in categories that include apparel, accessories, gift & novelties and themed entertainment," said Juli Boylan-Riddles, Executive Vice President, Global Strategic Partnerships & Licensing.
