NASHVILLE, TN. (Arista Nashville) - Acclaimed Arista Nashville chart-topper Brad Paisley pays a call on NBC's Weekend Today in New York City this coming Saturday, October 23. Paisley, who recently celebrated a career milestone of five million albums sold, will perform selections from his latest disc, the Platinum-certified Mud on the Tires, currently nominated as the 2004 CMA Album of the Year.

Paisley is also nominated in three other CMA categories, earning nods for Single, Musical Event, and Video of the Year for 'Whiskey Lullaby,' the compelling hit duet with Alison Krauss, which he'll perform on this year's CMA Awards broadcast on CBS on November 9.

Among the songs Paisley will perform on Weekend Today will be the album title track and current single, 'Mud on the Tires,' which makes a splash this week, cruising to No 25* in Billboard and No 22* in R&R.
