British Rock Legend Peter Asher Of Peter & Gordon To Perform At Arnold Palmer's Restaurant
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Music industry legend Peter Asher is slated to perform with his band at Arnold Palmer's Restaurant in La Quinta, California on Saturday, November 15th at 8:00 PM. A two-time Grammy award winner for Producer of the Year, Asher first came to fame with British Invasion era duo Peter and Gordon, whose debut single "World Without Love" rocketed to number one in June 1964. He was head of A & R for the Beatles' Apple Records, where he discovered James Taylor.

Asher went on to produce and manage James for over twenty-five years. Linda Ronstadt, Carole King, Billy Joel, Ringo Starr, Roger Waters, Neil Diamond, Fall Out Boys, The Fray, Ed Sheeran, and Morrissey are among the glorious cast Mr. Asher has worked with as a manager or producer over the years. The title track "Love Has Come For You", from the Peter Asher-produced collaboration of Steve Martin and Edie Brickell, won a Grammy earlier this year, and his work on the Elton John "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" 40th anniversary release received rave reviews--and not just from Elton himself!

Asher was front and center during the extraordinary 1960's musical revolution. His current show, entitled "A Musical Memoir Of The 1960's And Beyond", treats the audience to an evening filled with music, memories, photos and film of behind the scenes moments with the likes of the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Ed Sullivan, James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt and many more.

"As Mr. Asher regaled a delighted audience with stories...he conjured history in the making, before it was set in stone"-New York Times

Tickets are $150.00 per person, which includes a four course dinner with wine. Pre-paid tickets and reservations are required. Call 760-771-4653 to book your tickets today.
