(Top40 Charts) Operation Troop Aid, a charitable organization dedicated to inspiring, supporting and assisting deployed U.S. service members and their families, is pleased to announce the Troop Aid 2014 Street Party taking place on October 20, 2014, between 3rd and 5th on Broadway starting at 4 pm. Troop Aid 2014 will honor the sights and sounds of Lynyrd Skynyrd while featuring Jimmie Van Zant & Friends.
Southern Rock Royal Family member Jimmie Van Zant will support the troops and create a celebration of life on the 37th memoriam Lynyrd Skynyrd's Ronnie Van Zant and Steve & Cassie Gaines.
"We are thrilled and honored that Jimmie and family members of Lynyrd Skynyrd's founding member Ronnie Van Zant are using their name to help raise awareness and money for Operation Troop Aid," says Mark Woods, Operation Troop Aid founder. "We invite all of Nashville out to Broadway to enjoy an evening of great music all in support of our military."
