NASHVILLE, TN. (Arista Records) - Award-winning Arista Nashville hitmaker Brad Paisley kicks off his 2005 tour with an eye toward home, as his just-announced January 15 tour launch doubles as a homecoming benefit, with proceeds being donated to flood relief organizations in the Ohio Valley. Produced in conjunction with Jamboree USA , and staged at the Wheeling , WV WesBanco Arena, the concert, dubbed 'Mud in the Valley,' marks the second charity homecoming for the Glen Dale, WV native.

Paisley's first such event, 2002's 'Brad Paisley and Jamboree USA present 'An Evening Back Home,'' raised over $77,000 after taxes and expenses, and broke all previous records at the Wheeling Civic Center (now the WesBanco Arena), with over 7,500 people in attendance. As with the 2002 fundraiser, all proceeds from the January concert will be administered through the non-profit Brad Paisley Foundation, originally established in 2000 as an ongoing avenue to benefit charities throughout the Upper Ohio Valley of West Virginia and Eastern Ohio , near Brad's hometown community of Glen Dale, WV.
Tickets to the January 15 show, priced at $20, $25, and $30, go on sale at noon this Saturday, October 16, at the WesBanco Arena box office and through Ticketmaster.

Paisley has earned multiple honors for his accumulated body of charity work, just this year receiving the Country Radio Broadcasters' 2004 Artist Humanitarian Award, as well as earning an ACM nomination as the 2004 ACM/Home Depot Humanitarian of the Year.

'Mud on the Tires' is Brad's latest single from his Platinum-selling album of the same name. 'Mud' is currently showing its chart traction, advancing this week to No 27* in Billboard and No 28* in R&R.
