LOS ANGELES (Curb records) - LeAnn Rimes first ever Christmas album, WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD, hits stores today. It's also an important television week for the country music star who will appear as the sole guest on the Jane Pauley Show, performing 3 songs, and on an emotional segment of ABC's Extreme Makeover, both airing Thursday. Her highly anticipated LeAnn Rimes Symphonic Christmas tour kicks off on November 28 in Red Bank, New Jersey.

What a Wonderful World is a collection of eight traditional Christmas classics, including 'White Christmas,' 'O Holy Night' and 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas', and three original compositions, co-written by Rimes. The album was recorded at the legendary Capitol Records studio with members of the Brian Setzer Orchestra.

On Thursday at the Jane Pauley Show, LeAnn will perform her new hit single, 'Nothin' Bout Love Makes Sense,' as well as 'What a Wonderful World' from the Christmas CD and her smash hit, 'How Do I Live.' Last week, LeAnn was in New York to appear on ABC's 'The View,' CBS's 'Early Show,' 'The Tony Danza Show,' 'Fox & Friends' and 'Life & Style' (with hosts Jules Asner and Kimora Lee Simmons).

On her LeAnn Rimes Symphonic Christmas tour, conductor/composer/arranger/ pianist Frank McNamara (Irish Tenors, American Tenors) will direct the 65-piece full symphony orchestra backing LeAnn's dynamic vocals. THIS WOMAN, LeAnn's new studio album from which 'Nothin' Bout Love Makes Sense' is proving to be a smash at country radio, is set for release January 25, 2005 .
