NASHVILLE, TN. (Gulf Coast Records) - Glenn Cummings (Gulf Coast Records) is accustomed to flying these days. It has become the means of transportation for Glenn and his crew; Stephanie Callahan and Jason Grainger (guitar and background vocals) and Nina Rossman (Gulf Coast Records - National Director of Promotions), as they criss-cross the country on Glenn's national radio tour to promote his debut single and album, both titled Big. On a recent Southwest Airlines flight, flying turned to performing for Glenn.

Glenn boarded the plane thinking it was business as usual, however Jason, Stephanie and Nina had other ideas. They told the flight attendant that there was a rising Country music star on the plane. The flight attendant got a bright smile on her face and told them that she had an idea. Everyone then took their seats. As Glenn settled into his seat, he was oblivious to what was coming next.

When the plane leveled off at about 35 thousand feet, the flight attendant asked Glenn to report to the back of the plane ASAP! He jumped up and headed to the back. The flight attendant then announced over the intercom that they had a special surprise for the 200 passengers on board and proceeded to announce that Glenn was on the flight and that he was going to sing for them. Without missing a beat, Glenn launched into his single, "Big." After the plane landed and much to the delight of the passengers, Glenn signed autographs and gave away his album.

Glenn is currently concluding the Midwest portion of his radio tour. He has also filmed a video for "Big" that will be out in the coming weeks. "Big" is No. 40 with a bullet on the Music Row Chart. For more information on Glenn Cummings, go to www.gccountry.com
