Hot Topic To Unveil Highly-Anticipated Band Line-Up For Annual Get In Our Pants Campaign
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Hot Topic) Hot Topic is set to unveil the artist line-up for its iconic Get in Our Pants campaign, which in years past has featured fan-favorites including Sleeping With Sirens, Suicide Silence, Of Mice & Men and Asking Alexandria. Fans can get an early peek at the bands in this year's campaign by visiting getinourpants.com, then sharing or tweeting to unlock band posters and other exclusive content. Unsigned alternative rock band Eclipses For Eyes - which won the second annual Get in Our Pants Battle of the Bands - is the first of nine bands to be unveiled, and will be featured in Hot Topic stores alongside eight of the country's most popular acts starting in August.

"Over the last few weeks we've seen many of the bands in this year's Get in Our Pants campaign play at music festivals and - based upon fan reaction - feel like we have an exceptional line-up," said Cindy Levitt, senior vice president of merchandising and marketing at Hot Topic. "We can't wait to see the reaction of our fans to the striking images of their favorite bands on stage - in our pants, of course."

Introduced in 2011, Hot Topic's annual Get in Our Pants campaign features photos of bands in the heat of performance - wearing Hot Topic jeans, which are popular with bands. The campaign is a celebration of music - and the connection that forms between bands and their passionate fans. In 2013, Hot Topic added the Battle of the Bands contest, which seeks to introduce fresh unsigned bands that are selected based upon fan votes and input from a panel of music industry insiders. In addition to posters featuring the nine bands, fans will find exclusive content - including photos, interviews, performance videos, downloadable wallpapers and more - on Hot Topic's social media channels and at getinourpants.com. A locker poster featuring the acts in the Get in Our Pants campaign will be available as a gift with any jeans purchase in-store and at Hottopic.com starting on August 5th and until supplies last.

Get in Our Pants Battle of the Bands winner Eclipses For Eyes is known for raw guitar tones, punchy percussion, and "lyrics that will make you think twice." The band has gained popularity over the past year due in part to their presence at Warped Tour, CMJ (NYC) and SXSW, and their recent EP, 'Letters,' was produced by Get in Our Pants campaign alumni Matt Good (D.R.U.G.S./From First to Last) and David Ludlow (Greeley Estates).

"I was super excited when I heard we'd won the Battle of the Bands - there was actual jumping on the bed," said Lexi Salazar, Eclipses For Eyes lead singer. In addition to the spot in the Get in Our Pants campaign, Eclipses for Eyes won a $1,000 band grant and a year's worth of jeans. Plus, a Hot Topic exclusive Eclipses for Eyes tee is now available at Hottopic.com. Eclipses for Eyes is Lexi Salazar, Cameron Dartt, Dustin Yoes, Allen Zettel and Alex Cardwell.
