The Orbitsuns Release Spirted Cover Of "Go Get 'Em Tigers" In Honor Of 30th Anniversary Of World Series Title
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Aural Pleasure Music) In celebration of the Detroit Tigers' 30th Anniversary of their World Series Championship - honky-tonk rockers The Orbitsuns release a rousing re-do of "Go Get 'Em Tigers." The song was originally penned in 1967 by Artie Fields for the Detroit Tiger's baseball team, and continues to be a favorite among sports fans.

At the urging of guitarist Jackson Smith, an avid Detroit Tigers fan, The Orbitsuns recorded "Go Get 'Em Tigers" with band members Vinnie Dombroski on lead vocals, Jimmy Paluzzi on drums and Bob Hecker on bass at Michael Pigeon's St. Clair Shores, Michigan based "Studio Anywhere." The track also features backing vocals by Dombroski and Paluzzi's young children, plus guest vocals by Danielle Arsenault, singer of electro rock band Crud.

54 Sound's Joel Martin acquired all the rights to the classic theme song from legendary Detroit jingle giant Artie Fields. Martin is green-lighting a soon to be released new edit of The Orbitsuns' version that will include samples from the original Artie Fields version .

Dombroski recalled the 1984 Tiger's World Championship victory "as nothing short of electric!" "I was playing a club in Roseville the night of the final game and Tiger's pitcher Jack Morris stopped in afterwards. I shook his hand - it was a big deal!"

"The team right now has so much talent - we're all expecting big things this year - and our revamped theme song could rally the Tigers' troops to put this season over the top!" Dombroski added.

"We hope Detroit Tigers and music fans alike will enjoy this updated version of the 1968 classic."
