DUBLIN, Ireland (The Irish Tenors announcement) - Vocalists Anthony Kearns and Finbar Wright of The Irish Tenors are pleased to announce the return of original member John McDermott to the group. The new lineup has also just announced a new tour beginning in November.

"We feel we have a duty to bring our fans the best of everything, and it is with great pride and joy that we welcome John McDermott home to The Irish Tenors," comments Kearns and Wright. "With John by our sides, we know that The Irish Tenors will leave no music lover in any doubt that we are at the top of our game."

"It is a great honor for me to be asked back to the Tenors," says McDermott. "My time with the Tenors was one of the best and most gratifying periods of my career and I look forward to working and performing with Anthony and Finbar for many years to come."

In May 2004, Ronan Tynan left the group to pursue solo interests and The Irish Tenors wish him every success in his future endeavors.

With over two million albums sold worldwide and having appeared on several incredibly successful PBS specials as well as "The Today Show," "Good Morning America," "Regis & Kelly" and "A&E Breakfast with the Arts," The Irish Tenors have become one of the best-known vocal groups in the world. The group's near-constant touring schedule has made them one of the most successful Irish touring groups in the US, second only to U2 and they are one of the best-selling acts to appear on QVC.

The Irish Tenors were formed in 1998 and their best-selling albums include The Irish Tenors, Live from Belfast, Ellis Island and the current albums released through Razor & Tie, We Three Kings and Heritage.
