Texas Thunder Rumbles With The Sound Of Thousands Of Fans; Festival Organizers Already Planning For 2015 Zero Arrests At This Year's Festival According To Ector County Sheriff's Department
Gardendale, TX (Top40 Charts/ Webster & Associates) The second annual Texas Thunder music festival, held in Gardendale this past weekend, was a smash success, featuring performances by country superstars The Band Perry and Lee Brice, as well as Texas favorites Randy Rogers Band, Stoney LaRue, Wade Bowen and more. The mixture of Texas and Nashville country music attracted thousands of fans to the two-day music festival. The family-friendly atmosphere included not only non-stop music from two stages, but also specialty and food vendors, a carnival ride, camping and much more. Festival organizers are already planning on making 2015 even bigger and better.

"2014 was a great success for us," said festival owner Herb Graham. "But, we want to build on this momentum to create the biggest and the best country music festival in Texas. This is an incredible opportunity for the local communities to be a part of the growth of Texas Thunder, not only as an audience enjoying amazing world class entertainment, but also to attract thousands of people to the Permian Basin each year, which in turn helps to support the local economy." The festival is also proud to announce there were zero arrests and zero DWIs at this year's event, in stark contrast to other events in the area. The festival and the Ector County Sheriff's Department worked together to support an entertaining, fun and family-friendly event, which is an important priority for festival organizers.

"At large-scale events similar to Texas Thunder, we have had as many as 19 arrests and 40 DWIs," said Sergeant Eric Carrasco, head of security at this year's festival. "Everyone had a great time while following the rules and it helped to create a safe and fun atmosphere for all attendees."
