NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ E1 Music) - E1 Music (formerly KOCH Records) and Kill All Rats Entertainment are set to release a new compilation album, "Joe Crack and Pistol Pete Present K.A.R.," on April 7th, 2009. The album was Executive Produced by Fat Joe and Pistol Pete, and A&R'd by Antony Torres aka Red. The album features Fat Joe, DJ Khaled, Jadakiss, Ace Hood, Hell Rell, Sean Kingston, Sheek Louch, Tony Sunshine, Raekwon, Dre of the multi-platinum production team Cool & Dre, plus K.A.R. members Rob Cash, Onez, Leader and Mike Beck.

Just like Dipset, G-Unit, and Wu-Tang before them, K.A.R. has become the new New York movement. The collective has a slew of mixtapes and freestyles and has built a name for itself from the ground up. For this release, Bronx street legend Pistol Pete has teamed up with Joe Crack (Fat Joe) to bring the K.A.R. movement to the forefront for this compilation, along with K.A.R. members Mike Beck, Rob Cash, Leader, & Onez.

Fat Joe says, "It's been a while since New York has had great new energy like K.A.R. mafia brings to the game. They are the future."

The club banger "Oh Baby" features Joe Crack Onez and Rob Cash and can be heard here:

Pistol Pete is a street legend turned CEO. After serving a 15 year prison sentence, Pete returned home and was welcomed not only with love from the hood, but by fellow Terror Squad member Fat Joe, who had gone on to become one of the music industry's biggest stars.
Joe, whom Pete had known before he was in the music industry, took the upstart under his wing as he tried to find his way in the entertainment industry. He opened up a world of opportunities for his fellow Terror Squadian and it wasn't long before he was sitting down with famed music industry attorney Burt Padell creating his own company, Kill All Rats Entertainment.

Pete is motivated by his surroundings and had this to say: "I'm in it because I want to fulfill the dreams of those guys who are in the neighborhood all day - they are nicer than half of these guys in the game right now - but don't get the opportunity because these A&R guys and big executives don't take time out to go into hoods and get the talent there.
A lot of people in this rap game forgot where they came from! It's Kill All Rats, the movement!" In describing the project, Pete says: "We have a statement to make. We have music on there that people will be able to relate to. I'm going to have jail songs. It's gonna have club joints, joints where you can fall back. But at the end of the day Pistol Pete does this for those in the struggle.
K.A.R. represents these people - those who are in prison and those who can relate to his upbringing and way of life."
