Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Sustain Records) - Texas music juggernaut Wade Bowen is set to make another impression on the American music scene with the release of his latest disc "If We Ever Make It Home" on Sept. 30 on Texas-based independent label Sustain Records (distributed by Mercury Nashville).

Bowen's most recent effort features a mix of songs comprised of his signature thought-provoking lyrics as well as others showcasing his rich vocal melodies. The new album includes collaborations with fellow Texas musician Randy Rogers, famed songwriter Radney Foster, Nashville hitmaker Jim Beavers and angelic-voiced Ashley Monroe. The CD marks Bowen's first studio album since 2006's "Lost Hotel" which debuted to rave reviews.

Bowen worked with his long-time producer J.R. Rodriguez to complete his fourth album. Notable singer and Tennessee-bred Ashley Monroe added her pitch-perfect vocal to the title track of the album. Bowen's buddy and current tour mate Randy Rogers collaborated to pen "Why Makes Perfect Sense" and "Nobody's Fool". The album also includes a track written by Bowen and Radney Foster "From Bad to Good", as well as two Sean McConnell hits "Into The Arms of You" and "Somewhere Beautiful". Bowen's honest portrayal of his wife's struggle through postpartum depression is depicted on "Turn On The Lights" and Chris Knight lent his vocals to "Daddy And The Devil".

"This album is about learning to be happy with everything that comes your way in life," explains Bowen. "The songwriting covers a lot of emotional ground, but in the end, I think it is about relishing the journey. I can't wait to start playing these songs live, so I can get some feedback from the fans."

"If We Ever Make It Home" matches Bowen's strongest set of compositions yet and numbers by some of his favorite fellow songwriters with musical contributions by guitar stars David Grissom (known for his work with John Mellencamp and Joe Ely) and Jedd Hughes and such Music City A-plus team session players as Kenny Greenberg, Dan Dugmore and Aubrey Haynie as well as a guest background vocal appearance by acclaimed singer-songwriter Chris Knight. It's music that enriches the lives and souls of those who hear it as much as it does for its creator, providing a perfect soundtrack for both Saturday night out on the town delight and Sunday morning contemplation and reflection.
